48 things about me that you probably aren’t interested in at all but I’m going to tell you anyway

1. first name? Kirsten. Or Kirsty. You can also call me Darling but don’t call me Madam.

2. were you named after anyone? No.

3. when did you last cry? Probably yesterday, because I haven’t been awake long enough yet today.

4. do you like your handwriting? No, it’s messy and erratic. (gosh! What a surprise!)

5. what is your favorite lunch meat? Don’t really like cold meat. Can I choose prawns?

6. if you were another person would you be friends with you? Probably not - she can be too loud, bossy and ego-centric for my liking. Why does it always have to be about her?

7. do you have a journal? This blog. It’s all about me.

8. do you still have your tonsils? No, we parted ways in 1974 after they refused to live harmoniously with me.

9. would you bungee jump? I cannot imagine ANY circumstances which would make me do that (unless it involved a family member and a nasty threat.) (oooh, there, I did it. I imagined one.)

10. what is your favorite cereal? I really don’t like cereal very much, but I make myself eat breakfast these days. It has to be low-fat, NO sugar, crunchy, no sultanas-or-raisins-but-cranberries-apricots-almonds-and/or-apple are good, served with fruit and yoghurt, no milk. Did I mention in 6 that she’s fussy?

11. do you untie your shoes when you take them off? Hardly ever.

12. do you think you are strong? I know I am.

13. what is your favorite ice cream flavor? Butter Pecan. Anything with Maple Syrup or fresh raspberries.

14. shoe size? Just wear the box.

19. what color pants, shirt and shoes are you wearing? Blue jeans, light blue T-shirt and bare feet.

20. last thing you ate? Haven’t had breakfast yet, so last night’s celebratory cheesecake!

21. what are you listening to right now? Chirping birds. Nothing else, just that.

23. favorite smell? Chanel No 5,Peter’s skin, fresh linen, coffee… how predictable. yawn.

24. who was the last person you talked to on the phone? Peter, yesterday. “Do we need to take dessert?” “Yes, how about cheesecake?”

25. the first thing you notice about people you are attracted to? They are invariably interested in other people (i.e. ME)!! Seriously, their voice. (Freudian slip - typed ‘vice’.)

26. do you like the person you stole this from? Yes, you bet! Sarah is not just clever, she’s generous, too, and that is one of the qualities that most attracts me to someone.

27. favorite drink? Fizzy grape juice. Cheap Date.

28. favorite sport? Scrabble or boggle.

29. eye color? Brown.

30. hat size? Huge. Humungous. My brother’s head is even bigger. He claims to have an auxiliary brain at the back of his skull. He’s such a smart guy it’s probably true.

31. do you wear contacts? Now that’s a sad story. I USED to but I then I got allergic and it’s lifelong and incurable. So now I want laser surgery like my sister had.

32. favorite food? Oh, come on! ONE food?? Are you kidding me? Alright, fruit.

35. summer or winter? We don’t have seasons. Just heat. Constant, oppressive, nauseating heat.

40. what books are you reading? Love the assumption that I AM reading!

41. what’s on your mouse pad? Don’t use one. Laser mouse straight on desk.

42. what did you watch last night on tv? Didn’t watch TV. Last night was tennis finals for Peter’s team so I went to watch them. They won. Yay, Team. (It was actually very exciting!)

43. favorite sounds? silence or music I have chosen.

47. where were you born? Hamilton, New Zealand.
