Liesl at disdressed has posted a lovely image of a doll quilt that she made for her daughter. The quilt is backlit by sunshine. It has a gorgeous glow and reminded me of this photo that I took in New Zealand of a begonia. The flower was as big as the palm of my hand and, with the sun shining through, it was the colour of a sunset.

Was that at the water park? Great photo! I was too knackered there to take good shots- glad there’s a real photographer in the famb’ly. (still reading Grapes of Wrath, can ya tell. So tar’d, so so tar’d)

That looks like a great photo for the workshop I am going to do with Anna Williams at the Cloth Shop. We are doing printing on fabric with a fractured image of a flower. I am totally useless at photography and bless the crop button every time I use it.
