Mosaic Monday makes me happy ![]()
The male bowerbird gathers things to decorate the nesting mound he builds for his hen. They have a particular passion for cobalt blue.

Aaaargh1 I’m in heaven looking at those wonderful blues!
Honey, the reason the blogs you’ve been reading have no links is possibly that they’ve changed or updated their templates and lost them all. Blogger does that, so I don’t change mine.

I thought your post was titled “Would You Still Love Me If I Was Gay”, and I was trying to figure out what on earth one’s sexual preference had to do with cobalt blue!
That’ll teach me to read more carefully

I’m not surprised the bird has a thing about that colour, it sort of pulls you towards it doesn’t it? Or maybe that’s just me…

Oh, oh, oh, I too love that blue. And your cushions. I wish I could come to one of your classes, though I would be the class dunce. Still, one day I may master a sewing machine. Possibly.

I didn’t see you at my house taking photos! ( joking ) I have that blue glass everywhere ( collected it for years )and the blue marbles and beads and the peacock.
Great cushions you made as samples - bet your class all enjoyed the day.
If it’s any consolation the weather in NZ sucks today. To make it worse we have had no internet connection for 24 hours. Back now luckily. Cheers, Alison.

I so look forward to your mosaics! And this is again one of my MOST favourite colours, that “milk of Magnesia” bottle shade of blue glass is so cool, and peacocks… and btw about those little blue daisies, we have an identical one called felicia which is indigenous to the eastern cape, i always make sure i have 1 in my garden, so friendly!
(Do you get milk of magnesia where you live? sadly no longer sold in blue glass bottles here, now it is blue plastic.) But there is a South African wine that comes in stunning blue bottles, I don’t drink wine but am always nagging friends to drink that one so i can collect the empties!

“The Blues” have never been more happy! I have to admit that I am not crafty and am immensely envious of your talents! I simply can’t comprehend creating such beautiful objects ….. it is like quantum physics to me! But still….. I can appreciate the beauty!
