“Ha!”, says Peter, ” and Ha! again.”
What I mean is, BLOG housekeeping. As life became busier of late and blogging less, I realise I haven’t kept up with what is needed. There are cobwebs in the corner of my blog. YOU can help. Here’s what I would like – do you link to my blog and I have neglected to link you back?? This is a nasty oversight on my part. Now is the time to tell me if you should be on my links page! Don’t be shy, just leave a comment. “HEY YOU!! LINK ME ALREADY!!” would do. Or, if you don’t like making a public spectacle of yourself, email me on the Q.T. at kirsty(at)kirstenduncan(dot)com(dot)au
***NOTE***if I don’t link you after that it means I didn’t get your email, so don’t pout!***
Thank you! thank you! thank you! for the confidence boost you all gave me over the last few days. I really needed it and it REALLY TRULY helped to hear from you guys. You’ll see that I’ve deleted those last two posts. That’s because I’ve become a bit twitchy about theft. I’ve had a few posts pinched lately and I really don’t want to lose any of my design work! I’ll keep posting pics but I might be a bit selective about what I put out there for a while.

I’m already on your list and you have the Twelve by Twelve blog button too. Thank you:-) Hiss on anyone that uses your images without your permission. Some people just don’t get it.

My sweet friend, I‘m on your list already. Thanks for that! On the part of theft, it’s always tricky to show your designs. However, your work is so inspirational and it’s a shame not to post about it. I’ve seen the most amazing stuff on 12 by 12 too. Who are the poor soles that need to copy other peoples designs or steel your photos?

I don’t blame you a bit for being cautious about posting your designs. They’re wonderful and you deserve to be fairly compensated for your work.

Nobody will be able to post anthing soon for fear of it being knicked! Can’t believe how much of it goes around…It makes me nervous to show off my stuff. I had my own “suspicious situation” the other day and now I wonder if I should be posting anything at all.
btw: I got your link love already…thanks! x

I can’t believe that people would steal other people’s designs. Well, actually I can, but it’s still really sad. What are we going to post if we can’t share?
P.S. You’ve got me linked already, so don’t go running around looking for my blog.

not linked, but thought it was because I’m in the u.s. weird I know.
Nicked?!!! Well I oughtta! How does one find out about someone stealing their stuff? I’ve always wondered because I read about it happening all the time. you should set up your flickr page for friends and family and then those of us you can trust can see the whole pic and those you don’t just get a peek. But then again that’s more work again. You’re busy enough!

Gah. Theft sucks. What can you do? This whole internet thing is weird. It really is another world in which a whole different set of rules seem to apply…
Anywhoooo, I’m already on you list as well, except my link could use a little updating…. thanks love! Your recent works are mindblowing by the way. The creativity and talent makes me green with envy!!!

Catching up after horrendous busyness and just wanted to say that your post about losing a child was so touching. My heart just goes out to anyone who has.

I’m not linked!! A travesty I tell ya!!
You’re right to worry about theft, it’s so sad that people steal others work but…some things never ever change.

When did morals and a CONSCIENCE become expendable?! What is up with this thievery? I don’t get it! Don’t think I am linked either.

Well …you are on my link list…but that is because I like reading your blog…not because I wanted reciprocal rights!

I obviously missed reading your posts so I’m not clear about what’s been nicked. Some people!
As for the “Elementary Reading” level – which I ALSO got – it just means we write in clear, concise language that everyone can understand! Not a pile of convoluted crap that only makes sense to a genius.

I found your blog today via the comments on Jude Hill’s Spirit Cloth. I loved your expression of being a “steward” of handmade things. I feel that old cloth deserves to be loved and cared for – glad I’m not alone!
And I read farther down your posts – I like your writing. I see also that you’ve had a terrible loss. My sympathies – your words touched me deeply.
