No Country for Old Men (again)
Fargo has a rival for my affections and this is it. I can’t think of a single negative thing to say about this movie. It’s absolutely brilliant. Yes, Sussanah, I want to marry it.
The Darjeeling Limited
Funny, funny, clever, funny, sad, funny.
American Gods by Neil Gaiman WARNING: If you want to read the book, DON’T read the plot summary!! This is one of those books that you don’t want to know too much about before you read it. Just read it. It’s very, very good.
This bowl is bigger than it looks. There are a lot of yoyos in this bowl.

Mmmm mmmmm that salad looks yummy!

I think I’ll be going to read The American Gods – so I didn’t check it out – my friend has all of his books so is passing them on! I haven’t seen The Darjeeling Limited but it sounds good!
I love the salad!

I haven’t seen No Country for Old Men – I am a Coen brothers fan but J had said it was terribly violent.
If you love it so then I will watch it. Is it wrong to trust a blogging friend over your husband?
That is the second time I have seen the Neil Gaiman book referred. Another book to add to my list.

Love the colors in your yo-yo salad. Clever! I love movies but have not been to a theatre of rented one in, well I can’t remember! This should change.

Oh wow. What a wonderful salad! The time and energy. Oh were I too follow you about one day. I am sure I would pick up some time management tips. You never cease to amaze me!

Beautiful salad! I loved No Country for Old Men–definitely would stand up to repeated viewings! I enjoyed it much more than There Will Be Blood. Recently watched Charlie Wilson’s War which was incredibly entertaining. Have you seen Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead? Very good.

I still have to watch Darjeeling Limited and read American Gods. Thanks, I’ve read Neil Gaiman before and have enjoyed his writing. Liking the look of the yoyo salad, but what’s going to transform into?

You seriously like lime, don’t you? I’ve never heard of this kind of yoyo before. Have I mentioned that I don’t sew or craft? I have? Well…. it’s probably worth mentioning again.

I am learning I can trust your recommendations. I LOVE The Darjeeling Limited and you did not steer me wrong with IMA Robot, so I am off to the library to look for American Gods. Thanks!

They were just called rosettes in “the old days.” I have made bikinis out of them(with lining, of course!) and can’t remember how many sports team badges. But I think I prefer the salad version!

LOVED American Gods. Have you read Anansi Boys? Really good too. As Wikipedia says “It is not a sequel but is a part of the same fictional world.”
